About Luce
Luce is a talented observer and interpreter, they can analyse and understand a script quickly and easily. They are committed to researching the inspirations of a text or givens of a character. Part of the fascination with characters comes from their imaginative skills, being obsessed with stories and toys as a kid, only to never grow out of that instinct and continue to over-commit to roleplaying games like Dungeons and Dragons with her friends into their 20’s. Studying the theory and practice behind theatre making in VCE at VCASS and Uni at VCA showed all the facets of acting to Luce; the history, with Greek Theatre, Shakespeare and Commedia Dell’Arte to the present with Stanislavski and all around the world with Tadashi Suzuki, Grotowski and Brecht. With 5 years of Drama School under her belt, Luce has a lot to bring to the table and yet surely a lot to learn.
